The Beacon of Hope remains steadfast in its mission to support the residents of Pine Island – Bokeelia, St. James City, and Matlacha. Our efforts, and the needs of our community, have been consistently recognized by generous individual donors, non-profits, and the State of Florida. In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Ian, we received nearly $500,000 from individual donors, which has been instrumental in aiding residents’ recovery.

We proudly thank the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades for designating our agency as its Pine Island Resiliency Hub. This recognition ensures that all islanders know they can count on us as their trusted source for any social service needs.
